WHAT ARE LIVING BEINGS?

We can differenciate living beings from non-living beings. Living beings are made up of (hechos de) cells and complete the three vital functions(nutrition, interaction and reproduction).

WHAT ARE CELLS?

Are the smallest part of a living being and are also alive (vivas). They all have the same structure: 

• Membrane. 

•  Cytoplasm. 

•  Genetic material. 

TYPES OF CELLS

There are two types of cells:

• Prokaryotic cells: 
• The genetic material is in the cytoplasm.
• They don´t have many organelles.

• Eukaryotic cells:
• The genetic material is enclosed in the nucleus.
• They have many organelles.

Hola chicos y chicas, así como familias. Ya estamos otro curso más con nuestras presentaciones de cada tema de ciencias naturales y sociales. En esta ocasión, comenzamos el curso con el tema de la estructura y funciones de los seres vivos. Se trata de un tema apasionante y desconocido hasta ahora para nosotros y nosotras.
